Love this place! My family and I have been to Ladles twice now and the food and service do not disappoint! I had the chicken and waffles and it reminded me of the real deal I had in Charleston, SC a few years ago. Everyone is always so friendly, too!

Had the corned beef hash. Real corned beef which was delicious. Bartender and staff were very friendly.

Slowest service ever! Got here at 11:30 am.... so before the rush of lunch. Just two of us. We didn't leave until almost 1 pm and all we had was a sandwich each and a glass of water. There were still parking spots available so I'm thinking they weren't packed; we were sitting outside so we couldn't see what was going on inside but holy smoke... that was a long wait for a couple of mediocre sandwiches! Meatloaf sandwich was pretty darn good; chicken Chesapeake sandwich was okay.... server was preoccupied but did check on us. I expected more with all of the fantastic reviews they received. Bummer.

Ladles was fantastic we enjoyed the waitress Chris she was so welcoming!we started with the fried green tomatoes I loved the addition of spicy sauce/feta it was a great touch. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and crab bisque I highly recommend both they were so good! Big crab cake! My fiancé got the Polish man grilled cheese and roasted pepper soup. We got the special drink and carrot cake for dessert overall a fantastic experience with even better food.

Ladles is great. If soup is your thing, this place is a must visit. They have three soups that are available everyday and then a handful of other rotating soups. The other food available is pretty great as well. Staff generally friendly. The prices are a bit on the higher side when compared to similar places. I went here today for breakfast. I wasn't really crazy about the omelet I had, it had way too much egg. And the home fries it came with were seemingly undercooked. The sweet options looked better than the savory options this morning.
